Mary Pauline's Story

Hello, If you should decide to visit my profile and read my entire profile entry . I thank you in advance. I have two sons, five grandchildren, My children are out of the nest and have complete control of their own lives. After living away from this area for several years and living in various countries my spouse retired and we moved back home in 1999. I've been told that once you've had Rio Grande mud in your toes you always come back. How true is this? I shall never know! The real reason I'm here today is because I was a "mama," first and couldn't cut the umbilical cord. My two sons were living in Albuquerque, working and going to UNM. I lost my spouse in 2006 currently widowed. I joined classmates to help me stay in touch with those friends and classmates I have lost contact with. These days I do some volunteer work mostly stay busy with my dearest friends and enjoy my precious God given gift (life and nature). Humming birds being at the top of my list throw in a little fishing. Oh yes, my need to mention that I have become the person I am today only because I had a good man in my life who took good care of me and pampered me so much more than I feel I ever deserved. God sent this man with strong shoulders to lean on for 37 years. That person would be my late spouse Abenicio Cordova Jr. (Abie) who was always there with words of encouragement and who still takes care of me today. Thank God I was a kept woman. Abie and I both worked very hard together. I saved the best for last the love of my grandchildren whom I adore. Their love and acceptance of me is more precious than any material thing on this earth. My faith, to keep me strong so that I may enjoy everything God has made. My free will to make the right choices in my life as I continue to grow. My true and loyal friends, whom I shal...Expand for more
l consider my solid foundation as they have been there for me unconditionally through all my hard times when I needed support my best friend Maurice Gonzales Michelson always seemed to know when I was at my lowest point maybe today I am still here because of Maurice her support and the love her family offered me often. Her mother Celia my mentor was always there to help me with good advice after my mother's passing I could talk to Mrs. Gonzales and she was there to listen. I do know that when the time is right and only God can determine for me when this time shall be. My next prince charming will walk right into my life, sweep me off my feet when I least expect it and I shall as be as complete as I once was. I do miss having that special someone telling me just how much he loves me each and every day without fail. Adios..........Pauline This E-mail came to me and I have decided to up date my profile by adding the following: I am a "Kept" Woman." You see there were a few times when I thought I would lose my mind, but GOD kept me sane. There were times when I thought I could go no longer move forward, but the LORD kept me moving. At times, I've wanted to lash out at those whom I felt had done me wrong, but the LORD kept my mouth shut. Sometimes I think the money just isn't enough but GOD has helped me to keep the lights on, the water on the car paid, the house paid, etc. When I thought I would fall, He held me up. When I thought I was weak, He kept me strong! I could go on and on, but I'm sure you hear me! I'm blessed to be "KEPT." I'm kept by the Love and Grace of God. Author Unknown God is so good to me and continues to keep me in his care this is something I will be proud to say until I draw my last breath here on earth. FROG (Forever Relay On God). Thank you for your precious time..........
